About: Sasha (Sachmit Kher)

Sachmit Kher is a multidisciplinary artist, educator, and wellness advocate whose creative Artwork seamlessly blends visual art and holistic healing. Sachmit is a freelance Artist since two decades. Her other professional experience is in early childhood education where she led art workshops and mindfulness practices. Her art is an extension of her deep commitment to emotional well-being, community engagement, and cultural expression.

Working across various mediums—including oil, Acrylic and mixed media, Sachmit explores themes of spiritualism and inner resilience. Her unique artistic voice is rooted in therapeutic expression, drawing from both contemporary abstract techniques and natural elements. Her work invites viewers into a reflective space where healing, self-expression, and transformation converge is prominent.

In 2023, Sachmit’s paintings were showcased at the prestigious White Oaks Conference Resort and Spa in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario. She has also conducted numerous workshops for children and families, using art as a tool for emotional literacy, mindfulness, and creative empowerment. 

In addition to her visual and community work, Sachmit is the author of two children’s books focused on early learning and emotional development. Fluent in English and other  languages, she is dedicated to fostering inclusivity, cultural awareness, and healing through the arts.

Sachmit Kher continues to use her multidisciplinary talents to inspire, uplift, and connect communities—offering art not only as a medium of beauty but as a powerful catalyst for personal and collective wellness.
